Tengri Tagh Sticker
$4.00
Description
An homage to the Tengri Tagh, one of the longest mountain ranges in East Turkistan and a significant symbol in our culture and history.
"Tengri" comes from Tengrism, a Turko-Mongolic faith based on folk shamanism, animism and generally centered around the titular sky god Tengri. Tengri was not considered a deity in the usual sense, but a personification of the universe. Nowadays, the word "tengri" can sometimes be heard being used interchangeably with other words for "god", such as Allah, Ilah, Khudayim, etc.
"Tagh" means "mountain", and so these ranges are sometimes translated to English as "Heavenly Mountains", but I think Tengri Tagh sounds much cooler
